Poetry has a way of sublimely capturing the emotional rhythm of a place. And Agra has been the muse of scores of poets, inspiring them with its beauty and life. Join us as we retrace the steps of some of these stalwarts.
Agra’s poets can make one realise that language is not a barrier but a tool to establish human connections. The city and its culture has been beautifully documented in poetic verses of the likes of Nazir Akabarabadi, Ghalib, and Mir Taqi Mir. This tradition has continued with new poets emerging and evolving from different languages and communities. Join us on this poetry walk across the old city as we visit the birthplaces of some great poets, read and talk about the poetry of Agra, and try to understand the key role of language and verse within the city’s rich culture.

First time I visited Agra , I was 9 months old. For my best experience I counted on aayush – the dreamer of roobaroo walks. And he makes ur dreams come true. Authentic old Agra photowalk with Jama masjid. Baby taj and then awesome taj. These guys are there to do good to everyone . Agraheritagewalks is a group which is class apart but nicest.
