Most wonderful experience in the streets of Varanasi
When we first arrived in Varanasi we were a bit overwhelmed by the chaos of the city. This changed completely after our Food-walk, we never felt more welcome. During the tour you go to many different places, all with traditional typical Indian food. Under the amazing guidance of Sudarshan we almost felt like real Indians. The food was amazing, it is a lot and everything tastes so good! Even possible to order the ‘not so spicy type’ for the European stomach ;). Sudarshan is the sweetest guy, he knows a lot and also takes time to tell you about the Hindoe religion, some history of Varanasi or more specifics of the food you’re having. Wondering around the small narrow streets, it’s just magical. Namaste!
Highlight of Varanasi
My friend and I booked a food walk, which took us round the Old City and down lanes qe might never have found. We tried any array of delucious food and drinks from street vendors we would never have tried. Seeing the workmanship that goes into preparing certain sweets and food was amazing to see. Our guide Saurabh was fun and informative so the walk gave us some useful insight into local life in Varanasi. A bonus of the walk was visiting the beautiful flower market. I recommend this walk to everyone that visits Varanasi.
