Best way to explore Chandni Chowk!
We had taken the Roobaroo walk in Varanasi (and had a fantastic experience) and when i heard that they have expanded to Delhi and are offering chandni chowk walk, we had to do it! The walk was a mesmerizing experience – Aayush has an amazing understanding of the area (so it’s just like seeing the place through the eyes of a local) – had a great time discussing history at Lal Quila, culture and religion at Sis Ganj Sahib, Kabootarbaazi at a local’s, spices and their history at khari baoli and last but not the least – sampling some amazing vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies! what is great is that aayush is flexible and he can curate the walk (and the stories) based on your preferences.
Must do food experience in Old Delhi
In terms of places, I loved the Fatehpuri mosque and Jama masjid. I also enjoyed the walk through the spice market and the hustle and bustle of the streets near Pranthe wali Gali. In summary, the Old Delhi food experience by Roobaroo Walks is an absolute must do. Highly, highly recommend and can’t get enough!!
